The Latest Covid-19 Updates

Haven't gotten your vaccine yet? Here's something cool the LDOH is doing: Get your first vaccine shot and then get a $100 gift card. Of course, like all these things, it's 'while supplies last,' so don't delay.

You can get your shot on campus. It's free. And use the link below to signup.

Here are a few more details:

  • Get a $100 bucks from the Louisiana Department of Health (VISA gift card).
  • You have to come to the campus event to get the $100.
  • The money is for current NOBTS/LC students (not high school students) who are getting their first shot or second shot.
  • The vaccine is free.
  • This is a Louisiana Department of Health initiative.
  • The vaccine itself is Moderna, so the event is for people 18+.
  • You can still get a vaccine if you're not a student or if you're due for your second dose of Moderna.
  • Our friends at Baptist Community Health Services will be on campus giving the shots.
  • And it's happening on Thursday, September 9, in the DOS/Student Life suite, from 9am to 3pm.
  • The shots for 18 and up will be Moderna. BCHS will have a limited number of Pfizer shots available for those 12-17.
  • You need to sign up at
